Artist Statement: I’m Kim, a Senior at Decatur. I'm taking AP art for the second time. I explore and share my culture, my identity, and my experiences in my work using visual symbolism. Through this, I explored the complexities of self-repression, struggles, sadness, and connection to the stories of others like me.
