Pixie Thoughts

Long hair

Long hair

Long hair

Short hair

What’s the move?

Long hair Short hair

Who has the better advantage?

Long hair

Do you wake up and brush it to the side?

Like “messy hair don’t care”

Oh, short hair

You are wild

Each of you stand up declaring to be seen

The back my hair strands want to be heard the most

How could I tame you?

Short hair Short hair

You are just as wild and free as long hair

With the strength and bravery

Be loud and stay wild

Although for today, let’s meet in the middle with a hat

First Generation Graduate

The little girl giggled as she read her 5th graduation card

“Don’t trip as you walk across the stage that would be embarrassing”

Who would have known going to middle school would be important to my family?

She did not just

Graduate

Without tripping on the stage

She beat statistics

She was the first

In the family tree

To receive a

College degree
